I think it's easy to take for granted the sheer amount of communication required to buy, sell, and close on two homes, and all of the parties that need to be involved in the process. Carly was communicative and very easy to reach, checking in frequently to make sure we felt comfortable with all of the moving parts. She was so professional yet approachable, and really collaborative. She was spoken of so highly by our lender and homeowner's insurance agency. We really could not have done this without her. The Shawn Schmidt Group undoubtedly has a really strong foothold in the luxury market, and yet we always felt like valued clients even with our sub $300k budget range. Carly could be showing a multi-million dollar house on Lake Michigan in the afternoon, then drive all the way out to meet us for a showing in the evening, completely excited about the old fixer uppers we were looking at. We also got to meet her husband Mike throughout the year and they make such a great team. Not only are they helping people buy and sell real estate, but they are just so passionate about the up north lifestyle from hunting to fishing to gardening and supporting small businesses, they really care about community and know this area so well. Suffice to say, we are really really happy in our home in Cedar and it's due in no small part to having Carly as our realtor!
